The navy blue 2010/11 US away shirt from the 2010 World Cup was used twice in the tournament. The first was in their opening match vs England. The match ended 1-1 thanks to a goalkeeping blunder from Rob Green. And again in the match against Slovenia. The US trailed 2-0 at half-time before a pulsating 2nd half comeback that led to a 2-2 draw, and almost a victory. These results helped the US top their group but were ultimately eliminated by Ghana in the Round of 16
