Building on Nike‘s first ever soccer ball produced in 1984, Virgil Abloh borrowed the French artistic technique of Trompe-l’œil to deceive the eye into a new perspective. Utilizing a contrasting black-white color scheme accented by a heavy weathering design process, faded branding and an off white tone dominating adds depth to the field ready item. Complete with a co-branded holder and special packaging, the Off-White™ x Nike “Football, Mon Amour” Magia Match Ball was released June 14.
